Metal recycling creates the fabric of our everyday lives. By utilizing existing materials, I can mitigate some of the negative effects of the metal industry on the planet.
I am inspired by work that prioritizes accessibility, copper flowers function outside of visual art, and can be experienced even if you can’t see them or hear them.
When moving the flowers, sound mechanisms inside create reverberations that you can feel.

For custom fabrication projects I typically use MIG, TIG, Stick, or Oxyacetylene. And for the recycled-copper work I typically use Oxyacetylene brazing.
