For over 20 years!
My first photography gig was in high school, schlepping gear for Shawn and Michelle before I was even old enough to drive.
-
Film has the atmosphere that digital filters attempt to copy.
Negatives serve as a forever back-up, even if the digital files get damaged or lost the negatives can be digitized again.
I primarily use 35mm film, but enjoy using instant film (like polaroid). Medium format film, as well as 4×5 film, are also available. Please reach out for more details.
-
The 35mm film will be sent to Prisma film lab for processing. Once developed, you’ll receive a link to download and/or print your images. Through the photo lab you’ll be able to order prints of your pictures.
There are no up-charges or hidden fees when working with me. You’ll always receive ALL of the digital images.

I’m based in the mountains of rural Puerto Rico.
In addition to my rate, if I’m leaving the island, I ask that you to cover the cost of any flights, transportation, and lodging required to join you.
-
I don’t use time-limited pricing packages that restrict how much coverage you’ll have of your day. I am with you from start to finish.
The rate for this is $7,500.

I’ve probably photographed a wedding in a similar venue and would be happy to share examples. Please reach out with important details.

WEDDINGS
“One of the biggest challenges we had was finding a photographer we could be comfortable with. To say Alex was respectful and compassionate is an understatement. We felt at home being ourselves around Alex.
Alex brought an artistic intention to our wedding and a willingness to take creative risks. With our trust and their skill, Alex created a collection of images that tell a beautiful story. Alex fit seamlessly into our wedding day as a photographer, but also as someone we could count on for support.”
